Every camper trains directly under Division I coaches, not counselors running drills from a script.

Cal Poly Head Coach
Two-time Pac-12 Coach of the Year and President of the National Wrestling Coaches Association. Now in his 11th season at Cal Poly, he took a program with no NCAA qualifiers into the national Top 25, where it has stayed six straight years. He was an NCAA All-American at Chattanooga and a high school state and national champion, and he leads camp programming and technique instruction.

Cal Poly Assistant Coach
US Open Runner-Up and a U23 Freestyle All-American. He wrestled four seasons at Wisconsin, then qualified for the 2023 NCAA Championships as a Mustang. Now in his fourth season on the Cal Poly staff, he focuses on live drilling and building camper confidence on the mat.

Cal Poly Assistant Coach
NCAA All-American at Iowa, fifth at 174 pounds in 2023, and a three-time Iowa state champion. The son of two-time World champion Terry Brands, he grew up in one of the toughest wrestling cultures in the country and joined Cal Poly in 2026. He brings Division I technique and a competitor's edge to every session.

Cal Poly Assistant Coach & Recruiting Coordinator
Wrestled five seasons for the Mustangs before joining the staff in 2025. He runs the recruiting talk every camper hears and keeps camp operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

Central Coast RTC Athlete and Coach
4X NCAA Qualifier. Trevor walked on at Cal Poly as a practice partner and left as the program's first two-time Pac-12 heavyweight champion and a three-time Scholar All-American. He now trains and coaches at the Central Coast Regional Training Center and brings that work ethic to every session.

Current Cal Poly Wrestlers as Clinicians
Our staff runs every session with current Cal Poly wrestlers on the mat beside them, so every camper gets hands on correction at an 8 to 1 camper to coach ratio.
